GARDEN FESTIVAL 2010 – BEST EVER FOR US

We can’t gush enough – it really was our best ever showing at an exhibition. We introduced our successful Eczema pack, and the bamboo clothing almost sold out by the weekend. There was also a super special on sunblocks. Thanks to all who came and bought, or even just wanted to know more about our range.  Evelyn gave yet another one of her dynamic talks and they all followed her like the proverbial pied piper back to our booth. No Ku Nye this time as the space wasn’t there. But we’re offering it again at the Holistic Festival a few months from now.

50+ Expo – ANOTHER BRILLIANT SUCCESS

The recent 50+ expo (3-4 April) drew in thousands of moms, pops, granddads and grandmas. We were also there with our natural and organic skincare, natural sunblocks and Ku Nye facial therapy. Despite the large number of exhibitors selling everything from weight loss to hair extraction machines (ouch, ouch) vitamins, organic olive oils, cheap t-shirts, and you name it, its there, we, happily had a quiet corner to let those overwhelmed by crowds and noise experience our deeply relaxing Ku Nye facials and our special brand of healing hands.

Many who visited and revisited us, liked our sunblocks for its natural and high protection qualites though we had to explain that its ‘oiliness’ was from the moisturising properties of rosehip and shea butter, something which the skin needs badly under UV rays and not the horrible, petroleum based ‘mineral oil’ present in so many other sunblocks!

Many who attended Evelyn’s talk on skin care and sun care enjoyed it immensely, her particular brand of direct talk of how to take care of your skin without buying into the expensive hype all around. For those who missed it, she has an article on ‘Sun, more enemy than friend’ in this issue of ‘Silver Lining’. Though if the truth be known, she is a great respector of solar energy when she does her ‘surya namaskar’ in the morning.

GARDENTECH WAS A GREAT SUCCESS (14-18 Aug 09)

Our UV-bSAFE sunblock launch was highlighted on Breakfast TV, and Evelyn was interviewed for Channel 8 and other shows. An esitmated 80,000 visitors were treated to a wonderful show, and of course our sunblock sold very well.
